LEGO® Renault R35 WW2 French Infantry Tank
Entered service in the French Army in 1935 as a light tank but it was adapted to an infantry tank. The turret mounted a short-barrelled high velocity 47mm main gun which was very capable at the time. With over 2,000 tanks built, it was the most numerous French tank in 1940. And many were exported to Poland, Romanina and Turkey. However, poor fuel efficiency limited it's range and in later years of World War II many German tanks could out-gun the Renault R35.
