This German tank destroyer, known for its potent 88mm main gun and accuracy, impacted the Eastern Front in WW2. The Nashorn, originally named "Hornisse," was introduced in 1942 and produced until 1945 with around 473 units built. It was designed to combine the mobility of light tanks with the powerful anti-tank capability of the 88mm gun, making it particularly effective against Soviet armor.
