LEGO® Crusader Mk. III British Cruiser VI Tank
The Crusader Mk. III Cruiser VI Tank had a 6pdr Ordnance QF and the larger gun limited the turret space and reduced the crew to only 3. The maximum armour protection was 51mm which offered protection against small-arm fire. The Nuffield Liberty V12 petrol engine powered the 19-ton tank. It saw service in October 1942 and took part in the Second Battle of El Alamein. They were seen in action in Tunisia, Sicily and Italy by 1943. The Mark III remains the most produced variant of the Cruiser VI series.
