LEGO® L3-35 Italian WW2 Tankette
 
The L3-35 tankette (full name - Carro Veloce CV-35) was an Italian tankette which had 6 - 14mm of armour protection which stopped small-arms fire. The tankette was very cheap and easy to produce this resulted in around 1200 units built between 1935-1938. It had a top speed of 26mph on road. It's off-road capability was comparable to the German Panzer I Ausf. A/B. The turretless design meant that it only had 2 crew (Commander and Driver) inside the cramped tank. It was the most numerous Italian tankette from World War II.
