LEGO® Somua S35 French WW2 Cavalry Tank
The Somua S35 French tank first entered service in 1935 and it was the first tank to have an all-cast construction and an electrically powered turret. This decreased traversing time of the turret. The thick armour provided excellent protection for the 3 crew. It was known as the best medium tank of the 1930s because it was better armoured than early German counterparts like the Panzer I and Panzer II. Some captured models were used by German and Italian forces in WW2.
