LEGO® Opel Blitz DAK | WW2 German Truck.
Made by the German manufacturer Opel and was designed for carrying personnel and equipment. It was one of the most widely used trucks of the German army. It was powered by a 3.6L inline-6 gasoline engine, and had a maximum load capacity of 2.5 tons. The Opel Blitz was a versatile truck that served the German army in many theatres of World War II such as the North Africa campaign. However the Opel Blitz didn't perform as well as British trucks due to it's double rear wheels clogging up with the desert sand. They were not used in the same quantity as the 2 1/2 ton trucks of the British army (500,000) only 100,000 were used.
