LEGO® Sd. Kfz. 251 DAK WW2 German Half-Track
It was design for Panzergrenadiers because German Divisions were using Briltzkrieg tactics to break through French defences along The Maginot Line. 12Panzergrenadiers or supplies could fit inside the vehicle. The front-facing plates were 14.5mm thick; the sides were steeply angled, V-shaped 8mm thick plates protected the panzergrenadiers. There were around 15,000 of these half-tracks made through out WW2. Also, there were 22 variations included anti-aircraft guns or howtizers. The Sd. Kfz. 251/1 was the most common variant (as shown here), many were armed with two MG 34 machine gun which could be operated by the crew or soldiers.
