LEGO® WW2 VW Schwimmwagen German Amphibious Car

The VW Schwimmwagen is an amphibious car developed by Volkswagen during WWII. It was the most widely produced and distributed amphibious car in the world. The Schwimmwagen was powered by an air-cooled, four-cylinder, 1.131-liter engine, capable of speeds up to 50 km/h on land and 6 km/h in the water. It featured a four-wheel drive system, a front-mounted propeller and a foldable windscreen. Its light weight and innovative design allowed it to traverse almost any terrain with ease. The Schwimmwagen was an invaluable asset to the German Army during the war, and is now a sought-after collector’s item.
