The Churchill IV Tank was a British heavy tank used during World War II. It was the most heavily armoured of the Churchill series, and was heavily used by the Commonwealth forces in North Africa and the Mediterranean campaigns. It had a 75mm Mark V gun and a crew of 5 to man it, making it highly effective against enemy tanks. The Churchill IV was also one of the first tanks to be used on D-Day, contributing to the success of the Allied invasion of Europe. This tank was a reliable and powerful weapon in the battles of World War II.
